Northern Star Melanie C will head out on the road next year for a seven-date UK tour, taking her pulsating new album ‘The Sea’ to a host of major cities, including Belfast’s Limelight on March 4th.
 
Since going solo back in 1999, Melanie C has enjoyed two No.1 singles, six Top 10 singles and over three million album sales. She has released three albums on her own Red Girl Records – launched in 2004 – 2005’s ‘Beautiful Intentions’, 2007’s ‘This Time’ and fifth LP ‘The Sea’.

Melanie C (also known as Melanie Jayne Chisholm, Melanie Chisholm, or Mel C) was born 12 January 1974 in Whiston, Merseyside. She is an English singer, songwriter and actress. As a solo artist, she has released five albums(three of them on her own independent record label «Red Girl Records»), and earned nominations for a BRIT, ECHO awards and Laurence Olivier Award(for her role in “Blood Brothers” musical).
